About NetJim
I started my first web site in February of 1995. That
was about twenty years ago, well sometimes it seems like it anyway. :>)
Luckily for me, there were several people around who were willing to teach me
a little and point me in directions so I could learn more on my own.
What a neat idea...people who like to help other people.
(It's not the norm out there these days, is it?)
So after showing my proud accomplishments to a couple of friends,
I actually got requests to help them with their web projects.
I ran across a copy of that first HTML document
a few months ago. What an abomination! Any HTML validation program would
freeze from internal laughter. Thank goodness there are better ways!
Since those early days with Notepad, I've used
FrontPage (let's not go there right now) and several HTML editors.
The software I use now is unimportant (unless you want to
buy it and get me a referral commission).
But please take the time to learn something about HTML. Regardless of
the software you choose to use, this knowledge will help you.
So look around netjim.com. You'll find some
interesting and helpful topics and links. And
send questions.
I will respond personally. I may be getting paid to do web sites now, but
helping others with their sites is still the best part of it all.
